Court Revives Patent Nintendo, Roku Stand Accused of Copying

The Federal Circuit on Monday revived a software rights-management patent Nintendo Co., Roku Inc., and Vizio Inc. are each accused of infringing.

An administrative patent tribunal’s decision invalidating the patent gave short shrift to Ancora Technologies Inc.'s evidence evidence it successfully licensed its patents to certain third parties, the appeals court said Monday.
