The mail fraud, conspiracy to commit healthcare fraud, and felony misbranding convictions of the managing partner of a Florida pharmacy were upheld by the Sixth Circuit Wednesday.
Peter Bolos claimed he was unfairly held criminally culpable for contractual violations. But Judge Eugene E. Siler Jr.'s opinion for the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit said that the evidence supported Bolos’ convictions for his part in the scheme that accumulated between $65 and $150 million from pharmacy benefit managers.
