Connecticut gun rights advocates lost their preliminary bid to block enforcement of state gun laws banning assault weapons and large-capacity magazines.
The National Association for Gun Rights and Connecticut resident Toni Flanigan requested a preliminary injunction while they pursue their court challenge to the provisions, which they allege violate NAGR members’ right to keep and bear arms.
The US District Court for the District of Connecticut declined their request Thursday, finding the plaintiffs hadn’t demonstrated a likelihood of success on their claim.
