A conservative student group at Clovis Community College in California is likely to win its argument that a school policy that prohibits posting flyers with inappropriate and offensive language on the school’s bulletin boards violates the First Amendment, a federal trial court said.
Young Americans for Freedom and its members sued the school and administrators requesting a preliminary injunction after their anti-leftist flyer was allowed to be posted only for a limited time and their pro life flyer was allowed only on a free speech kiosk, which was allegedly in a remote part of campus.
