Cleveland Indians Baseball Co. LLC violated federal and state minimum wage and overtime laws in requiring an Arizona spring training facility worker to work seven-day weeks and “volunteer” her time, a new lawsuit alleges.
Janae Finton claims in her April 9 complaint under the Fair Labor Standards Act that she’s owed unpaid minimum wages, enhanced damages, and other relief as a result of the club’s “illegal wage practices.”
