Prominent U.S. Supreme Court advocate and former U.S. Solicitor General Paul D. Clement and the rest of the law firm Bancroft PLLC will join Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
According to a Kirkland press release, the newly combined appellate practice argued 11 cases representing 15 percent of the Supreme Court’s docket for the 2015-2016 term.
Bloomberg BNA research shows that Clement argued 6 of those cases; Bancroft’s Erin E. Murphy argued 2; and Kirkland’s Christopher Landau argued 3.
