Justice Clarence Thomas appears to have taken additional trips on billionaire Republican donor Harlan Crow’s private jet that he never disclosed, according to new information obtained by the Senate Finance Committee.
Committee Chair Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) said he received records from the US Customs and Border Protection that show Thomas and his wife, Ginni, flew from Hawaii to New Zealand and back on Crow’s private jet in November 2010. Wyden listed the unreported trip in a letter Monday to Crow’s attorney Michael Bopp asking for more information about travel with the justice.
