Case:

Range v. Att’y Gen. U.S., 2024 BL 470218 (Article)

Issue:

Can the federal law that prohibits convicted felons from possessing guns be applied to a person who was convicted of a non-violent felony? The en banc Third Circuit says no, but the Eighth Circuit says that the statute is constitutional as applied to a non-violent past offender with “no need for felony-by-felony litigation.”
