An Oregon federal district court granted summary judgment to the Benton County Health Department on the claims of a mental health associate that he was denied an accommodation for his religious beliefs regarding the county’s Covid-19 vaccine mandate, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ruling that there was sufficient evidence that granting an exemption would have created an undue burden on the county, since the associate had to work in person with others to do his job.
