Bloomingdales.com Customer Drops Suit Over TikTok Data Sharing

A consumer ended her proposed class action alleging Bloomingdales.com LLC used online surveillance technology from TikTok Inc. to collect the personal information of web visitors in violation of California privacy law.

Lead plaintiff Kirra Hanson and Bloomingdale’s filed a joint stipulation of dismissal with prejudice as to Hanson’s individual claims and without prejudice as to the class claims Thursday in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
