Former White House counsel Maury Riggan is joining the Biden-Harris campaign as its general counsel as the campaign gears up for any preelection day legal challenges, the campaign announced today.
“I’m deeply honored and humbled to join the team that will reelect President Biden and Vice President Harris, and that will work to vigorously defend the right for every eligible American to vote and have that vote counted,” Riggan told Bloomberg News.
Riggan will oversee the campaign’s legal strategy with a team of experts on issues such as election integrity and cybersecurity.
