Judge J. Michelle Childs is President Joe Biden’s intended nominee for a seat on the federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., that’s sometimes considered the second-highest in the land.
Biden announced his plans on Thursday to nominate Childs to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit . He also nominated the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Deputy Legal Director Nancy Gbana Abudu to a seat on the Atlanta-based Eleventh Circuit.
