Biden Administration Flips Positions in Union Organizing Case

For the second time this week, the Biden administration changed the federal government’s position in a case pending before the U.S. Supreme Court.

The latest change came Friday in Cedar Point Nursery v. Hassid, a labor dispute about access to employees for union organizing.

“Following the change in Administration, the Department of Justice has reconsidered the government’s position in this case,” Acting Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar told the justices.
