The immigration enforcement debate in Congress is imperiling funding for Homeland Security agencies set to expire Feb. 13 absent a bipartisan deal or short-term extension.
Democrats are demanding policy changes to immigration enforcement, including requiring agents to obtain judicial warrants and ending the use of face masks, to help get a DHS funding bill the 60 votes it needs to pass the Senate.
