Baker Tilly Interim CEO to Stay in Post Two Years Amid Search

Jeff Ferro will helm the Top 10 accounting firm Baker Tilly for two years as the next CEO following the departure of the firm’s former chief, Alan Whitman.

Ferro, who was named interim CEO when Whitman stepped down March 14, confirmed to Bloomberg Tax Tuesday during an interview that he would serve in the role for the next two years while the Chicago-based company undergoes a “full succession process.”

“I’m committed until May 31 of ’25 to give 150% to the company that I helped build, and we’ll see what happens after that,” Ferro said.
