Arnold & Porter Boosts DC Telecom Practice With Sidley’s Beckner

C. Frederick “Rick” Beckner III joined Arnold & Porter as a partner in its telecommunications, internet and media practice in Washington, DC, the firm announced Thursday.

Beckner advises technology clients on regulatory and antitrust issues and handles enforcement investigations and merger proceedings before the Federal Communications Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, and the US Department of Justice. He has appeared before federal district courts, courts of appeals, and the US Supreme Court, the firm said.

He joins from Sidley Austin, according to his LinkedIn profile.
