Amazon, Last-Mile Delivery Drivers Lose Wage Deal Approval Bid

Amazon package delivery workers who say the company and a last-mile service provider owe them unpaid wages must fix up a proposed $560,000 settlement before a federal judge will approve the deal.

The Memphis-area drivers—who delivered Amazon packages for last-mile provider JARS TD Inc.—have “multiple issues” to address before they can move forward with their settlement, including changes to opt-in procedures and supporting information for their attorneys’ fees request, the US District Court for the Western District of Tennessee said.
