A senior prosecutor whose explicit texts with former Alaska federal judge Joshua Kindred sparked ethics concerns has described their relationship as “abusive” and said he threatened her career prospects, according to newly disclosed court filings.

The prosecutor’s account—made public Monday for the first time—represents the latest fallout from Kindred’s resignation after the judiciary found he had inappropriate relationships with female lawyers who appeared before him, including a senior prosecutor who sent him nude photographs.
