Wendy Dodson Gallegos and Jason Wagenmaker joined Akin as partners in its real estate and infrastructure M&A practices in Chicago, the firm announced Monday.
Gallegos represents many of the largest real estate private equity firms and sector-specific operators and allocators in forming open-end and closed-end private equity funds with a wide range of real estate and real estate-related investment strategies across the U.S., Asia-Pacific and Europe.
Wagenmaker advises investors and companies on complex infrastructure M&A deals spanning transportation, digital infrastructure, energy, and real estate.
They join from Mayer Brown.
