AECOM Whistleblower Revives Part of Afghanistan Contract Suit

A False Claims Act whistleblower on Friday revived part of his lawsuit accusing AECOM of defrauding the Army under a billion-dollar vehicle maintenance contract in Afghanistan, when the Second Circuit ruled that one of his claims was improperly dismissed.

Hassan Foreman, a former employee in AECOM’s finance department, can move forward with claims based on the defense contractor’s alleged overbilling for hours not actually worked, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit said.
