Activision Bias, Harassment Settlement Challenged by Union (1)

Activision Blizzard Inc.‘s proposed settlement with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission over sexual harassment claims is being challenged by a union representing employees of the game maker.

The Communications Workers of America filed an objection to the settlement and asked a judge to allow a fairness hearing to hear from employees.

Activision and the EEOC reached a proposed deal in September to settle sexual harassment and discrimination claims for $18 million.
