24 Capital Avoids Racketeering Suit Filed in Ohio Federal Court

24 Capital LLC and its operations manager don’t have to face a racketeering suit in a federal court in Ohio because they aren’t amenable to service in the state, the Sixth Circuit said.

Peters Broadcast Engineering Inc. contracted with 24 Capital for an advance on its future receivables. When the relationship soured, Peters Broadcast sued 24 Capital and its manager, Jason Sankov, for violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
