Trump Acknowledges the Blue Threat

President Donald Trump acknowledged that a continued battle between US Sen. John Cornyn and Attorney General Ken Paxton could threaten the GOP’s control over Congress in November. His comments follow State Rep. James Talarico’s decisive primary night win on the Democratic side of the aisle, Joe Lovinger and Josh Wingrove report.

Though he declined to do so last week in Texas, the president said he’d now endorse someone, and ask the other candidate “to immediately DROP OUT OF THE RACE!”
