Trump Skips CPAC, Withholds TX Senate Nod
President Donald Trump is no longer expected to endorse either incumbent US Sen. John Cornyn or Attorney General Ken Paxton in the highly contentious race for Cornyn’s seat, Nancy Cook reports in our new Washington Edition email.
That’s a shift from his comments after the March primary, when he said he’d announce his pick, and that the other candidate should drop out immediately.
