Texas Democrat Talarico Buys Super Bowl Ad to Slam Billionaires

James Talarico, a Texas Democrat running for the US Senate, is buying ad time during the Super Bowl to hammer billionaires.

“Billionaires don’t just influence politicians, they own them,” Talarico says in the ad, calling for new taxes on the ultra-wealthy, limits on campaign donations and a halt to stock trading by members of Congress. “Our government should work for all of us, not just billionaires.”
