Tariffs Round Two?

Companies here and around the world have waited with bated breath for the US Supreme Court’s ruling on whether Donald Trump could use emergency powers to issue tariffs.

But the high court’s 6-3 vote that Trump’s levies exceeded his authority didn’t end up closing the matter. Instead, the president imposed a new 10% global tariff under Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974 on Friday, increasing that to 15% by Saturday. He may issue more, Kate Sullivan reports.
