Musk’s Move to Texas Pays Off in Court

A Delaware judge ruled that Texas — not Delaware — is the proper venue for shareholder claims alleging corporate misconduct by Elon Musk. Vice Chancellor Bonnie David dismissed several shareholder lawsuits, saying the court should honor Tesla investors’ own decision to make Texas the required venue for these kinds of cases.
