Oil and gas services provider Rowan Energy Inc. sued competitor Doc Energy Services Inc. for infringing patents for filter insert products.
Doc Energy’s filter pots products infringe US Design Patent Nos. D1,099,261 and D1,078,944, Rowan said in a complaint filed June 12 in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas. Rowan said it notified Doc Energy of its concerns in March, and that Doc Energy has continued to sell the infringing products.
