Early voting is underway in what’s been a bruising, expensive battle between US Sen. John Cornyn and Attorney General Ken Paxton.

But—given anger over the Iran war and the cost of living—the constant attacks prior to the May 26 election run the risk of demoralizing Republican voters, Joe Lovinger reports.
