The Texas Business Court is scheduled to — at last — kick off its first jury trial today. (Ryan Autullo‘s been waiting for this since October, watching as five other cases were settled days before their own jury trials were set to start).
Judge Sofia Adrogué will preside over the case, which involves a dispute over whether the plaintiff, Albert Powers, has partial rights to ownership of and profits from Axis Midstream Holdings’ billion-dollar crude oil delivery system.
