Exxon Mobil plans to submit a request for environmental authorization for a second gas project off the coast of Guyana, country manager Alistair Routledge said in Georgetown Wednesday.
- Exxon has “growing confidence” in increasing Guyana’s gas production beyond the planned Longtail project, Routledge said
- Environmental authorization for the second project will be submitted in the next few months ahead of a full proposal to the government next year, he said
