Hopefully you’re staying safe and warm, as we brace for another day of this brutal winter storm.

Many of us will be working from home instead of in the courts. As of last night, the Northern District intended to close all of its offices today, while the Southern, Western, and Eastern Districts each planned to close some courts and delay openings at others in their regions. At least some state courts in places like Dallas and Harris counties have also adjusted their calendars due to the extreme weather.
