In Texas, But Also Not in Texas
CrowdStrike may have an Austin office — but that’s not enough reason to sue the cybersecurity company in Texas, the Business Court decided.
Judge Melissa Andrews ruled that GoSecure failed to pass what she called the nerve center test, which relies on the “location of the corporation’s brain” versus where it has employees or customers, Ryan Autullo reports.
While the Austin office has many employees, only one of its 17 executive officers is in Texas, she noted.
