Xfinity TV Moves Out of Beta

Comcast has pulled its Xfinity TV online video service out of beta mode and is now providing it to more than 23 million cable TV subscribers. The content includes 30,000 feature-length movies to rent, stream or buy, as well as 25,000 TV show episodes—including recently added programming from Showtime Networks and Viacom.

Xfinity TV represents the core spirit of the “TV Everywhere” model that multichannel video providers have been embracing over the last two years.
