VR, Robots, Training Systems Part of NASA Recompete of CACI Work

Virtual reality, robotics, and other simulation and engineering services for NASA are going to be up for recompetition as soon as Feb. 10. CACI International Inc. has brought in $138 million in obligations since it began work on the existing contract for the Johnson Space Center in 2014.

A Feb. 4 update for the follow-on competition for Simulation and Software Technology (SST) III indicated a response due date will be set for “on or about” March 14. CACI’s contract is scheduled for completion Sept. 30., which could explain NASA’s plans for a short deadline for responses to the final RFP. ...
