Volkswagen and three Israeli cybersecurity professionals are creating an automotive cybersecurity company, the Wolfsburg, Germany-based automobile manufacturer announced Sept. 14.
CYMOTIVE Technologies will be based in Herzliya, Israel and Wolfsburg, the announcement said.
As cars become increasingly connected to the internet, automobile manufacturers are teaming up with technology companies to protect cars from cybersecurity threats.
