Verisign Sues .xyz Registry, Says Plenty of Good .com Names Available

A new top-level domain registry marketing itself as the most successful one so far is falsely—and unlawfully—representing to the public that there are no good domain names left in the .com top-level domain, according to a complaint filed Dec. 19, 2014, by Verisign Inc. (VeriSign Inc. v. Xyz.com LLC, E.D. Va., 14-cv-01749, complaint filed 12/19/14).
