The U.S. trade war with China could hamper U.S. wireless carriers’ 5G expansion plans.

The telecom industry is warning that President Donald Trump’s tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods will raise the prices of many parts that wireless carriers need to deploy 5G. Industry executives say they plan to discuss the issue during a White House meeting on 5G.
