Uniform Law Commission Releases Final Draft of Digital Assets Access Proposal

Fiduciary access to the digital assets of deceased or incapacitated people would be protected from most terms of service provisions to the contrary under the proposed Uniform Fiduciary Access to Digital Assets Act released June 11.

The proposal, the sixth publicly released draft, is a final draft scheduled for discussion and vote at the National Conference of Commissions on Uniform State Laws annual meeting July 11-17 in Seattle.
