New rules from the UK’s communications regulator will challenge the way 
Ofcom unveiled on Thursday the final draft of its children’s safety codes designed to protect users under the age of 18 from harmful content. The rules require social media services such as X to prevent children from seeing pornography by implementing “highly effective” age checks no later than July.
