Trump Administration Wants to Argue at Qualcomm’s FTC Appeal

The Trump administration asked that it be allowed to participate in legal arguments at the Feb. 13 appeals court hearing on the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s antitrust case against Qualcomm.

  • Qualcomm is asking the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to overturn a ruling that it abuses its dominant position in the market for cellphone chips to obtain excessive licensing fees
