TikTok Settles Mental Harm Lawsuit From Content Moderator

TikTok Inc. and its parent company ByteDance Inc. reached a settlement with a third-party content moderator in exchange for dismissing a lawsuit alleging psychological harm.

Judge Vince Chhabria ordered the lawsuit’s dismissal without prejudice on Thursday, noting an unspecified agreement reached between Reece Young and TikTok on Aug. 8. Neither party immediately responded to a request for comment Friday.
