Block Communications is expanding into new markets with the purchase of Alabama and Mississippi cable systems currently operated by Harron Communications and Mid-Atlantic integrated business communications provider Line Systems.
Privately-held Block owns Buckeye CableSystem, which serves about 130,000 residential subscribers in northwest and north central Ohio and parts of southeast Michigan, and Buckeye TeleSystem, a business services provider offering voice, data, cloud, and data center services to enterprises across the same Ohio and Michigan regional markets.
