Telecom Stakeholders: Flexible Rules Will Help Wireless Broadband Technology

Flexible regulation that doesn’t compartmentalize or restrict wireless technologies will be one of the best steps the FCC can take toward increasing wireless broadband bandwidth capacity and increasing wireless network speeds, telecommunications policy analysts and industry and federal stakeholders said.

Representatives of a variety of organizations and agencies participated in five panels discussing a variety of broadband-related issues at a March 18 Georgetown University Center for Business and Public Policy event titled “The National Broadband Plan: Looking Back, Reaching Forward.”
