The Federal Communications Bar Association is postponing and rescheduling its March events, citing concerns over the outbreak of Covid-19 disease linked to the new coronavirus.
The group’s schedule changes were made “out of an abundance of caution” and in light of concerns about participating in public events, FCBA President Josh Turner said in a statement. He cited the temporary travel restrictions put in place at the Federal Communications Commission and some of its member companies.
Affected FCBA events include continuing legal education classes, a privacy symposium, and a mentoring supper.
