T-Mobile Wins FCC Approval to Buy Budget Provider Mint Mobile

T-Mobile US Inc. won US approval Thursday to buy budget wireless provider Mint Mobile.

The second-largest US wireless provider proposed acquiring Mint’s closely held parent company, Ka’ena Corp., with a combination of 39% cash and 61% stock in March 2023. The deal for as much as $1.35 billion was approved in an order issued by the Federal Communications Commission.
