T-Mobile Poland Says Fended Off DDoS Attack on Network Dec. 2

T-Mobile Polska’s network was target of distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack on Dec. 2, it says on Twitter.

• Says it was the largest attack of this type on the T-Mobile network, and “to our knowledge also the largest direct attack on a mobile network operator in Poland”
• Firm prevented network blockage, and the operation of the company’s critical systems was not compromised in any way
• Attack and its consequences are subject to internal analysis and have been reported to the relevant surveillance institutions
