SpaceX Delays Starship Launch on Hydraulic Pin Malfunction (1)

SpaceX delayed a critical test of its massive Starship rocket just seconds before launch on Thursday after a pin holding the tower arm in place failed to retract.

Starship was slated to take off on its twelfth major mission from the company’s South Texas launch facility, called Starbase. The next launch window will open at 5:30 p.m. local time Friday. The countdown clock had reached 40 seconds before the flight was eventually scrubbed.
