One way for small tech contractors to boost their value is to attach themselves to government set-aside programs that make them attractive for acquisition.
This was the position space tech company Synaptech found itself in when it was bought by contracting consultant LMI earlier this month. Synaptech enhanced its value after taking advantage of a change to the Small Business Administration’s innovation research program to raise its profile with millions of dollars of new business.
