Social Site Credentials Can Be Converted In New York, Injunction Demands Return

An individual who conducted social media and online outreach for a group of online marketing companies must return access credentials for the group’s online accounts and websites prior to the resolution of the group’s conversion lawsuit against her, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled Oct. 19 (Ardis Health LLC v. Nankivell, S.D.N.Y., 1:11-cv-05013-NRB, 10/19/11).
